Rest, Relaxation... and Carrot Fritters
Garden Atrium Offers a Delicious Respite from the Busy World of Health Care
In September, we were proud to open the Garden Atrium – a restaurant and relaxation space for patients, families and employees.
Diners can order from a seasonal menu that emphasizes fresh, local ingredients and features produce from our rooftop garden, located just steps away. Among the offerings are warm green bean and purple rice salad; pork sliders; spiced carrot oatmeal cake and house-made ice cream.
Because of its location on Level 3 of the East Pavilion on the Main Campus, it’s also an appealing place for families to relax while waiting for loved ones who are in surgery.
The restaurant is open from 7:30 am-4 pm daily, with the relaxation space open until 9 pm.
Staff held their own ribbon-cutting right before they started moving new moms the new space. On hand to do the honors was Hope Wasilesky, who had been patiently awaiting her baby for over two months while on bed rest here.
